We had a wonderful stay, the views were ecstatic. Facility is well built and beautiful at every corner, had a game drive and we felt at home. A shoutout to Mr Godfrey for a wonderful service, he is indeed a great person, checked up on us until we arrived and made our stay memorable with his support and constant love throughout our stay. Keep that man, He is amazing!!!!

The experience at Stroomrivier Lodge last week was truly amazing.
The rooms were beautifully equipped, clean and the beds were so comfy.
The staff especially Godfrey the manager was so accompanying and was available 24/7 to help
Anna was fantastic making sure the rooms were clean, dishes always done.
The view of the water hole a few meters from the patio was awesome.
Giraffes,Buffalo and other animals to see.
Seeing Rhino in the evening right next to the patio grazing was an experience of note.
I can recommend Stroomrivier to anyone who enjoys 5 star accommodation and wonderful game and game drives is the place to go.
Only 30 minutes to the Pilansberg and Sun City.

🌿 Phenomenal Experience at Stroom Rivier Gerbers (Safari) 🐘✨
Just wrapped up an unforgettable stay at Stroom Rivier Gerbers near the Pilanesberg Game Reserve, and I can’t recommend it enough!
From start to finish, everything was so thoughtfully done. Godfrey, our guide, was amazing — his deep knowledge of the animals made every game drive super interesting, and you can tell he truly loves what he does. He was always just a message away and ready to help with anything we needed.
A big shoutout to Anna too — she quietly took care of everything behind the scenes, from dishes and laundry to making our beds and keeping the place spotless. We felt so well looked after!
Even the owners went out of their way — one day they kindly picked up extra butter and sugar for us when we ran out. It’s the little things like that that really make a difference.
The décor and layout of the place were gorgeous — cozy, stylish, and so comfortable. We especially loved the morning and evening game drives with Godfrey, and the fires he set up for us each night (one inside, one outside!) made everything feel so warm and welcoming.
Every detail was thought through. Truly a one-of-a-kind safari experience. 💚 Highly, highly recommend if you're planning a trip to Pilanesberg or just looking for a special getaway!

Our stay at the lodge was absolutely amazing! Godfrey and Anna did an exceptional job making sure we had everything we needed and truly went above and beyond to take care of us. The game drives were incredible, and we especially loved hearing Godfrey share stories and insights about the property — such a special touch.

What made our experience even more memorable was the visit from the owners, who personally stopped by to introduce themselves and ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. That level of hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated.

From start to finish, our experience at Stroomrivier Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. The 5-star service truly sets this place apart—every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready with a smile.

The sunset game drive was an absolute highlight! Watching wildlife with the golden African sun melting into the horizon was pure magic. It felt like something out of a dream. And just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we were treated to an incredible outdoor dining experience under the stars—delicious food, crackling fires, and the peaceful sounds of nature all around.

Breathtaking.

Booked out the entire lodge for our stay.  We were a group of 9 people.  Rooms are simple farm styled with microwave fridge kettle tea and coffee., bath tub and shower.

It’s self catering with one big entertainment area that’s separate from the rooms with A huge fire pit.  A man made water hole in front of the lodge with plenty of wild life.   Game drive was enjoyable.
